My designs are always guided by three important principles:

• My belief that all gardens are unique - to the people who use them and to the place where they are made, and that good design is essential to every project.
• My commitment to using environmentally sound design and construction practices, including the use of native plants where appropriate and the best organic soil management techniques always.
• My love of plants, and the fascination they hold for me. Landscaping is making art with living plants, and I love doing it.
